Two or four players use paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball. Suitable for all ages and skills level. Paddle rentals available upon request. We offer rental spaces in our facility and outdoor park fields for your special occasion or sports events. Contact us at (702) 455-1291 for availability, rental fees, rules, and request forms. Rates vary by room request, date and hours of rental. Rentals are first come, first serve basis. WARMING KITCHEN Should be rented in conjunction with a room. No grills or stove top use. Equipped with refrigerator, oven, and sink. INDOOR RENTAL AREAS MULTI-PURPOSE AREA Perfect for parties (i.e. baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays, graduation, meetings, etc.) Food allowed, but no alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted. CLASSROOM(S) A or B Perfect for small meetings, HOA’S, etc. Food allowed, but no alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted. CLEANING DEPOSIT A cleaning deposit of $100 is due day of event prior to entering room. Deposit is only accepted in form of check or money order. The amount will be refunded if the premises are left clean and undamaged and the renter met all center guidelines. OUTDOOR FIELDS (1-4) SOFTBALL FIELD (5) Perfect for team practices, games, etc. We have 5 fields with lights outdoors. Rates begin at $12/per hour. $10 light permit, 2 hour minimum. SPORTS TINY TOT SPORTS Tiny Tot Sports is a class that introduces children to sports and group games, and helps them develop motor skills and social and emotional skills. The class is designed for children ages 3–5.5 years old and may include activities such as: basketball, floor hockey, soccer, kickball, and t-ball. Parents must remain present during class. REFUND POLICY If a class or program is cancelled by the department, a full refund will be given. Class registration may be cancelled by an individual and issued a 100% refund if cancellation is made prior to the first class. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class. Credits issued to household account expire after 90 days. At Melvin Ennis Recreation Center staff makes every effort to make sure programs and information meet deadlines. We apologize in advance should you find an error and will correct it promptly. Note: We DO NOT allow confetti, glitter, smoke/fog machines, propane, or use of alcohol in our facility.
