AFTERSCHOOL OPEN REC DAY CAMP Join our supervised after-school recreational-based program for children in First through twelfth grades (ages 6-18). Offered daily after school during the school year from school dismissal until 6 p.m. Our program provides recreational activities both indoors and outdoors along with sports/open gym, arts & crafts, tournaments, and movies. Monday-Friday ** Open Rec follows the CCSD calendar. There is no Open Rec on days there is no school. There is no program on staff development days or Spring Break. The last day of Afterschool Open Rec will be Friday May 23. All participants must be registered prior to participating, parents are required to complete information waivers. There is a one time $20 fee per school year, per participant. Once registered participants may check themselves in and out of the program. Once they leave/check out of the designated program area, they cannot return for the day, and we are no longer responsible for them. Day Camp is an all-day, supervised program designed to entertain and engage youth (ages 6-12) when school is not in session. This fun-filled program focuses on crafts, sports, games, and other fun activities. Spring Break: March 17-21 (Online registration began February 10) Summer Break: May 27-August 8 (Online registration begins April 17) 7am-6pm Day Camp is $21 per day, per child. Payment in full is required to reserve your childs space. Day Camp availability is on a first come, first served basis. Parents/Guardians are required to complete a participant registration/information form annually. Campers must bring their own breakfast and lunch. All campers should bring an afternoon snack. Day Camp close at 6:00 p.m. Beginning at 6:01 p.m., a late pick‐up fee of $5.00 will be assessed for every 10 minutes the participant that remains at the site. LOST & FOUND Clark County Parks & Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A lost & found is located near the front desk. Items not claimed after 30 days will be donated. YOUTH/TEEN PROGRAMMING TEEN LEADERS OF THE FUTURE (LOTF) The Leaders of the Future program is sponsored by the Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation for teens 13-17 years of age. The objective of the program is to create and maintain high standards of education, character, citizenship, and skill development to meet the future leadership needs of the community. Teen Leaders will focus on service to the community, leadership development, job training, and social recreation. All applicants must complete, sign, and turn in the Teen Leader application and include two letters of recommendation from their references (non-family members). They must complete an interview with the Center’s Leader of the Future supervisor. Applicants will be selected based on their written application, interview performance, and availability of open positions within the program.
